Abstract
T lymphocytes use major histocompatibility antigens as cell markers. During T cell induction by antigen from a resting state and during performance of effector, function, the self histocompatibility molecules must be recognized along with foreign antigen. The same markers expressed in the thymus are responsible, for selecting The T-cell receptor repertoire. In this review Michael Becan discusses the involvement of histocompatibility antigens in T-cell ontogeny.Year: 1981 PMID: 25290456 DOI: 10.1016/0167-5699(81)90050-5
