Abstract
This paper shows a case of pregnancy-associated osteoporosis (PAO) with seven vertebral compression fractures treated with strontium ranelate and supplementation of calcium and cholecalciferol. Clinical evaluation, laboratory and radiological results are analyzed in the case-report to demonstrate that strontium ranelate is a good option to restore quickly the value of bone mineral density in the treatment of a case of PAO.Entities:
