Wrinkling due to middermal elastolysis. Report of a case and review of the literature.

We describe a 33-year-old woman with idiopathic loss of middermal elastic tissue, resulting in widespread fine wrinkling of the skin. This represents an example of the rarely reported entity middermal elastolysis. The literature is reviewed.
