Abstract
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is often associated with cardiovascular diseases, such as pulmonary hypertension, ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias or heart failure. These co-morbidities may cause diagnostic or therapeutic difficulties and significantly worsen the morbidity and mortality of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In this work the author reviews special considerations for the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who have cardiovascular co-morbidities.Entities:
