Abstract
Stereotactic body radiation therapy is a rapidly growing advanced treatment technique that delivers high radiation dose with great precision. The implementation of stereotactic body radiation therapy should be associated with a specific initial training and continuing professional education for radiation oncologists and medical physicists. The creation of a French stereotactic body radiation therapy group gathering radiation oncologists (SFRO and AFCOR) and medical physicists (SFPM) is mandatory in order to create dedicated national guidelines, prospective databases and to promote clinical trials in this field. Keywords: Enseignement; Learning; Medical physicist; Oncologue radiothérapeute; Physicien médical; Radiation oncologist; Radiothérapie en conditions stéréotaxiques; Stereotactic irradiation
