Abstract
Rabbit morulae were cultured to blastocysts in various concentrations of the potential phospholipid precursors, myo-inositol, choline, serine and ethanolamine. Serine (20-2500 microM) had a significant stimulatory effect on blastocyst formation and blastocyst expansion and inositol (3-375 microM) had a significant stimulatory effect on blastocyst expansion. There was no significant stimulatory effect of choline or ethanolamine.Entities:
