Abstract
An intrameniscal ossicle was discovered and resected by arthroscopy in the anterior horn of a medial meniscus. Intrameniscal ossicles are exceptional; 33 cases are described in the literature. In the great majority of cases, they are discovered in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus in young males. These ossicles most often cause diffuse pain in the knee, but may be asymptomatic. Conservative treatment seems to be recommended in the majority of the cases.Entities:
