Abstract
Malpositioned central venous catheters must be repositioned in order to avoid damage caused by concentrated or irritating infusates. Floppy catheters may be repositioned rapidly with a brisk injection of fluid. The ease of this technique, with its anticipated low risk of infection, makes it an attractive alternative to manipulation using guidewires.Entities:
