Abstract
Cavernous haemangiomas are the most common benign tumours of the liver, most of which are found incidentally during abdominal imaging, laparotomy or autopsy. A patient with a large, symptomatic lesion, which responded well to radiation therapy, is described. In view of the fact that a large proportion of these vascular malformations are unresectable and response to radiation therapy is well documented, the latter modality should be considered for symptomatic lesions.Entities:
