Abstract
BACKGROUND: Epidemiological evidence suggests that early menarche, defined as onset of menses at age 11 or earlier, has increased in prevalence in recent birth cohorts and is associated with multiple poor medical and mental health outcomes in adulthood. There is evidence that childhood adversities occurring prior to menarche contribute to early menarche.Entities:

Model 1: Number (count) of adversities as a continuous predictor with statistical adjustment for age, ethnicity, and BMI (i.e. ORs in model 1 are adjusted for all variables in the first column).
Model 2: Main effects of the five childhood adversities with the strongest associations with early menarche with statistical adjustment for age, ethnicity, and BMI (i.e. ORs in model 2 are adjusted for all variables in the second column).
