Fig 1Dr Louis Sportelli. Dr Sportelli received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in December 1962 and has been in private practice since 1963 in Palmerton, PA. He has been active in his state, national, and international associations. He served as Chairman of the Board of the American Chiropractic Association in 1989 and as President of the World Federation of Chiropractic from 1998 to 2000. Currently serving as President of the NCMIC Group in Iowa, Dr Sportelli is also on the advisory board of The Chiropractic Report newsletter and is a trustee of Blue Mountain Health Systems, a partnership of local community hospitals.
