Abstract
Nanopore sensors provide a highly innovative technique for a rapid and label-free single molecule analysis, which holds a great potential in routing applications. Biological nanopores have been used as ultra-sensitive sensors over a wide range of single molecule analysis including DNA sequencing, disease diagnosis, drug screening, environment monitoring and the construction of molecule machines. This mini review will focus on the current strategies for the identification and characterization of an individual analyte, especially based on our recent achievements in biological nanopore biosensors.Mesh:
