Abstract
Research work can support the development of methods and practices and increase the appreciation of the field. Research work in the community health center requires support from the management as well as collaborative networks with the university, primary health care unit and specialized care. It is wise to select the topic so that localinterest and support will be available. Multicenter studies and collaboration between communityhealth centers ensure the collection of adequate material. At its best, research work brings enthusiasm into the functioning of community health centers, makes the personnel more committedand provides training, and promotes the adoption of evidence-based practices.Mesh:
