Abstract
PURPOSE: Growth hormone (GH) plays a key role in the regulation of body composition, lipid metabolism, and quality of life in adults with GH deficiency (GHD). This study investigated changes in laboratory findings and body composition after GH recommencement for adult GHD and analyzed correlation between GH interruption period and endocrine or anthropometric parameters.Entities:

Structural abnormalities in adults with growth hormone deficiency
Changes in clinical and biochemical parameters after GH replacement
Values are presented as mean±standard deviation.
GH, growth hormone; IGF-1, insulin-like growth factor-1; IGFBP-3, IGF binding protein-3; HDL, high-density lipoprotein; LDL, low-density lipoprotein.
a)Statistically significant.
