Abstract
Little is known about the effectiveness of abdominal and lower-extremity compression in treating postural tachycardia syndrome, particularly in younger patients. This repeated-measures study of 20 young patients with postural tachycardia syndrome demonstrates that compression during head-upright tilt table testing decreases tachycardia (P<.001) and effectively attenuates orthostatic symptoms.Entities:
