Statistical considerations in economic evaluations: a guide for cardiologists.

Abstract

The author reviews statistical methods commonly applied in economic evaluations that rely on individual patient-level data. The paper includes a review of foundational concepts, unique characteristics of health economic data, and methods developed to address them.
