Abstract
The significance of leg edema as a symptom of multiple anomalies, from benign manifestations to underlying Graves' disease, is described. Accurate assessment, history taking, and supportive diagnostic tests will assist nurses to manage their patients' with competence. A comprehensive discussion about different types of edema, etiology, pathophysiology, management, and patient education is aimed to equip nurses in independent and collaborative management of lower-extremity edema in their patients.Entities:
