Trigeminal and glossopharyngeal neuralgia.

Abstract

Trigeminal neuralgia and glossopharyngeal neuralgia are two causes of paroxysmal craniofacial pain. Either can be debilitating in affected individuals. This article reviews the epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment options for these disorders. Published by Elsevier Inc.
