Sir, The recent report on “paederus dermatitis” is very interesting.[1] Coondoo and Nandy mentioned for the possible effect of climate change the increased incidence of paederus dermatitis.[1] In fact, the climate change is confirmed for its relationship to change of pattern of several dermatological disorders and should be a topic to be concerned in present dermatology.[2] Focusing on the present report by Coondoo and Nandy, there are some remained queries. In fact, the climate change has ever occurred for several times. Why the change in incidence of paederus dermatitis has just been observed? Whether there is any other factor that result in change of insect ecology should be assessed. The possible explanation might be due to the shift of the human community invading to the area which is the habitat of the insect.
