Abstract
Novel potent and selective mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists were identified, utilizing heterocyclic amide replacements in the oxazolidinedione series. Structure-activity relationship (SAR) efforts focused on improving lipophilic ligand efficiency (LLE) while maintaining nuclear hormone receptor selectivity and reasonable pharmacokinetic profiles.Entities:
