Abstract
Nursing is an evidence-based profession that uses the latest and best research to improve nursing practice and patient outcomes. Nursing research is needed to generate knowledge and develop nursing care. Despite this, the role of the research nurse is poorly understood and appreciated. This article discusses the importance of the nurses' role in clinical research and provides information on how to pursue a career in research.Entities:
