Abstract
This study compares two indicators of aging (bone loss and frailty syndrome) between patients of the cohort and age- and sex-matched subjects from the general population in Dakar. It shows that patients had a lower mineral bone density. By contrast, the prevalence of frailty (an indicator of general health status and physical condition) among patients was similar to the general population.Entities:
