Abstract
Catheter-associated urinary tract infection, 1 of the hospital-acquired conditions targeted for reduction by the US government, is challenging to prevent. We therefore developed a self-assessment tool (a catheter-associated urinary tract infection prevention guide to patient safety) based on extensive qualitative evaluations.
