Abstract
Adenoma malignum is a rare malignancy of the cervix that often presents, as in this case, as urinary incontinence (UI). Due to this symptomatology, women with adenoma malignum are often referred to urogynecologists for investigation and management. Without a high degree of suspicion, the diagnosis is easy to overlook due to the atypical presentation for a gynecological malignancy and the deceptively benign histopathology. Adenoma malignum is highly malignant, and a late diagnosis is often fatal. An early diagnosis is therefore crucial for curative management, and the following paper provides a timely reminder of this rare but potentially devastating condition.Entities:
