Abstract
The resolution of bivariate flow karyotypes of human chromosomes stained with Hoechst 33258 and chromomycin A3 can be increased by adding sodium citrate and sodium sulfite to the chromosomes shortly before measurement. A flow karyotype of a patient with chronic myelocytic leukemia is shown to illustrate that the addition of these compounds allows high-resolution measurements to be made and evaluated reliably from clinical samples.Entities:
