Abstract
Electroporation is a delivery technique that is gaining popularity among the veterinary community due to its low cost, ease of application, and flexibility. It combines the administration of pharmaceutical compounds such as chemotherapy agents, antisense, and plasmids to the application of permeabilizing pulses. This chapter reviews the veterinary results obtained through the delivery of anticancer drugs (electrochemotherapy) and genes (electro-gene therapy).Mesh:
