Abstract
Cardiovascular diseases are highly prevalent in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Approximately one out of three patients with COPD dies of cardiovascular disease. Overlap syndrome (COPD and obstructive sleep apnea), pulmonary hypertension and lung hyperinflation have a further impact on cardiovascular function in patients with COPD.Entities:
