Index patient: the first positive patient was found in family.
Case: the active pulmonary tuberculosis was found among the household contacts.
Contact: the number of family members who have contacted with the index patients.
Positive cases: the smear positive patients were found among the household contacts.
By regions: we divided whole country into 4 regions based on the distribution of TB in China.
