Hemodynamic Parameters during Absolute Ethanol Embolotherapy
Data are presented as means ± SD. *P < 0.05 vs. baseline, †P < 0.05 vs. Group A of its relevant time. Group P: start continuous infusion of nitroglycerin before the initiation of a bolus injection of absolute ethanol, Group A: start continuous infusion of nitroglycerin after the initiation of a bolus injection of absolute ethanol. Tbaseline: at 15 minutes after the induction of general anesthesia, Thighest: at the time the mean pulmonary arterial pressure reached the highest level during the session, Tfinal: at 10 minutes after the final injection of absolute ethanol, Tself-resp: at the time of restoration of the patient's spontaneous respirations.
