Novelty-induced memory transmission between two nonequilibrium neural networks.

Yongtao Li1, Ichiro Tsuda2.

Abstract

We treated the interactions between two nonequilibrium neural networks, each of which possesses memories that are different from those of the other. In this respect, we developed a kind of hetero interaction that is a crucial ingredient for assuring communication. We propose a new learning algorithm for assuring different neural activity in both the maintenance of own memories and the learning of other memories (which are different from own memories). We call it novelty-induced learning.
