Abstract
Hairy cell leukemia is a chronic lymphoproliferative disorder affecting middle-aged adults, with the median age of 50-55 years. We report a case of hairy cell leukemia who presented with fever, splinter haemorrhages and moderate splenomegaly, simulating infective endocarditis. There was bicytopenia at presentation and hairy cells were seen in the peripheral blood.Entities:
