Abstract
Five newly-isolated strains of Xanthomonas campestris when compared with the standard strain, NRRL B-1459, showed higher broth viscosity and xanthan gum production. Evaluation of polysaccharide rheology is a very important determinant for selecting new xanthan-producing isolates.Entities:
