Youth and jobs: Educational, vocational, and mental health aspects.

M F Shore1.

Abstract

Much research has been done on the personality factors related to occupational choice and work performance during adolescence. However, only a few systematic studies have been reported on the effect of work experiences on adolescent personality formation. Studies in the second area are reviewed critically, their implications are discussed, and directions for further research are suggested.
