Abstract
A fulminant polyradiculoneuropathy resulted in a clinical state like brain death. Sequential EEG studies showed normally reactive alpha activity and spontaneous variability between wakefulness, drowsiness and sleep. EEG studies are valuable in such states in suggesting at least partial integrity of cortical neuronal activities, where no clinical measure is available.Entities:
