Abstract
UNLABELLED: Idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) is a disease characterized by persistent hypereosinophilia (>1.5×109/L) for more than 6 months in the absence of other causes of reactive eosinophilia. Patients with HES presenting with multiorgan thromboses are rare. Herein we report a 57-year-old man with HES who presented with deep venous thrombosis of the lower extremities, portal thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and mesenteric venous thrombosis, which led to intestinal obstruction.
