Abstract
Exophiala dermatitidis is a dematiaceous fungus that is increasingly being identified as a cause of fungal infection especially in patients with immunodeficiency. To date, however, the factors predisposing E. dermatitidis and its optimal treatments have not been fully addressed. Here, we report the first patient with untreated multiple myeloma who developed E. dermatitidis pulmonary infection. We also review recent clinical reports describing the features of E. dermatitidis infection.Entities:
