Abstract
Invasive fungal infection is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in patients receiving treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). Herein, we report a case of a 21 year old woman with an extremely resistant Fusarium species that responded to the addition of interferon gamma to her medical therapy, subsequently allowing definitive debulking surgery of her invasive Fusarium infection to be undertaken.Entities:
