Abstract
•Necrotizing fasciitis has not previously been reported in association with placement of intraperitoneal port at time of cytoreductive surgery.•Consensus is lacking regarding the placement of intraperitoneal ports at the time of bowel surgery.•Delayed placement of intraperitoneal ports may be considered in patients undergoing bowel resection.Entities:
