Abstract
Autologous fibrin glue was evaluated as a sealant of the common bile duct (CBD) with the use of experimental animal models. It proved to be highly effective. Since it is a safe product that can be easily obtained from the patient's own blood, it may find useful application in most biliary tract procedures, liver transplants, and hepatectomies.Entities:
