Abstract
L2Zn2 (L = HC[C(Me)N(2,4,6-Me3C6H2)]2) and Ph2E2 (E = Se, Te) react to form LZnSePh (1) and LZnTePh (2).1 and 2 further react with H2O and EtOH to form LZnOH (3) and LZnOEt (4), respectively, whereas the reaction of 2 with oxygen yielded [LZnOTe(O)Ph]2 (5). 1, 4 and 5 were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction.Entities:
