Abstract

Three components of the larval mandibular glands ofEphestia (=Anagasta) kuehniella, 2-(Z,E)-hexadeca-12',14'-dienoylcyclohexane-1,3-dione, 2-oleoylcyclohexane-1,3-dione, and 2-linoleoylcyclohexane-1,3-dione, have been synthesized and shown to be active as kairomones.
