Abstract
Primary prevention has recently emerged as a top priority on the nation's agenda in the social-psychological as well as in the medical arena. This paper examines the knowledge base on which prevention efforts might be founded. The results indicate that conventional published data bases are extremely deficient in preventive materials, and computer-based information systems are no better. Implications of these findings for primary prevention are discussed.Year: 1981 PMID: 24301102 DOI: 10.1007/BF01324572
