Abstract
The effects of increasing doses of diazepam on striatal dopamine (DA) and homovanillic acid (HVA) levels were studied in rats pretreated with γ-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB). A dose of 750 mg/kg of GHB causes a rise of both DA and HVA striatal levels in rats. Diazepam, administered to animals pretreated with GHB, induces a further increase of striatal DA and HVA levels.Entities:
