Abstract
A case of a pure ovarian dysgerminoma is reported in which the tumor was devoid of syncytiotrophoblastic giant cells, yet it produced human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). Immunocytochemical studies localized the hCG in the germinoma cell cytoplasm, suggesting that these cells were the site of production.Entities:
