Stability of poly(A)(+)RNA in nucleate and anucleate cells of Acetabularia.

K Kloppstech1, H G Schweiger.

Abstract

The stability of poly(A)(+)RNA was compared in nucleate and anucleate cells of Acetabularia. While in the absence of the nucleus poly(A)(+)RNA exhibits a pronounced stability, it is significantly less stable in the presence of the nucleus.
