Abstract
Although the central nervous system is a common site of dissemination in immunocompromised patients with invasive aspergillosis, it is a very rare site of primary infection in immunocompetent patients. We describe the case of a 53-year-old man, without any identified factor risk for aspergillosis, who developed brain aspergillosis abscesses after streptococcal pneumonia. Computed tomography, magnetic resonance and diffusion weighted imaging findings of cerebral lesions are reported.Entities:
