Abstract
BACKGROUND: Population characteristics and outcome of cats with arterial thromboembolism (ATE) managed in general practice (GP) have been poorly described. HYPOTHESIS: Cats with ATE presenting to GP are usually euthanized at presentation, but survival times >1 year are possible.
