Abstract
We present the results of exact numerical studies of the energy landscape and the dynamics of a 12-monomer chain with contact interactions encoding the ground state on a square lattice. In spite of its simplicity, the model is shown to exhibit behavior at odds with the standard picture of proteins.Mesh：
