[Primary structure of the DNA copy of the protein VP1 gene of the foot-and-mouth disease virus A22].

Abstract

The DNA-copy of the major antigen (VP1) coding region of the FMDV A22 sero-type has been cloned and sequenced. A comparison of the respective amino acid sequence with those of other VP1 of A-serotype revealed considerable differences in the structure of antigenic determinants.
