Principles for the training of "new professionals" in mental health.

C Eisdorfer1, S E Golann.

Abstract

Experience with two of the recent programs for training mature women in "new professions" for mental health service has led the authors to develop a series of hypotheses concerning such new training programs. These hypotheses are presented as guidelines or principles of planning and training for developing new programs in nontraditional mental health roles.
